Project Information

Viperlib is a non-profit project directed by Peter Thompson and Rob Stone at the Department of Psychology, University of York, York YO10 5DD, UK. Viperlib is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) under the Fund for the Development of Teaching and Learning.

Viperlib is a web-based library of images and presentation material illuminating the study of visual perception. Viperlib is bringing together images, animations and graphs that will drop straight into presentations. Currently, images already in digitised form are scattered throughout a variety of academic websites and personal collections. Owners of material are being asked to donate copies of their images to Viperlib to create one central facility.

The material on this site has been given freely by the vision community, and users may download or print copies of the images without charge for non-profit educational or research purposes only.
